September 5 Jurisdiction C Ask the Contractor Teleconference (ACT) on Condition of Payment Prior Authorization for Power Mobility Devices

The DME Provider Outreach and Education team has scheduled an ACT call for the afternoon of September 5, 2018.

The teleconference will begin at 2:00 PM Eastern (1:00 PM Central) and focus on the expansion of the Condition of Payment Prior Authorization for Power Mobility Devices. This expansion allows suppliers in all 50 states and U.S. territories to submit prior authorization requests for 31 additional power wheelchair HCPCS codes. This expansion begins September 1, 2018. The DME POE call moderator will outline the necessary steps for submitting prior authorization requests (PAR) and answer questions.
