HydroWorx offers the webinar, “Utilizing Aquatic Therapy for UCL Injury Rehabilitation,” on April 20 from 1 pm to 2 pm EST.
Ulnar collateral ligament (UCL) injuries occur frequently in athletes who perform throwing and overhead movements in their sports. They often require surgery and can lead to lengthy recovery times.
During the webinar, Jeremy Braziel ATC, LAT, FMS, SFMA, CES, TPI-CGFI, TPI-JC2, a certified athletic trainer at the Shoulder Center of Arkansas, will discuss how to integrate aquatic therapy into a program to help rehabilitate patients with such injuries, in order to help improve their outcomes.
Topics will include the various aspects of UCL injury, including contributing factors, symptoms, and diagnosis; and various exercise strategies, and how they have been developed to help bridge the gap between rehabilitation and return to throwing.
One CEU of credit will be available for athletic trainers who view the webinar in its entirety.
