According to an ATG Rehab news release, this acquisition adds 13 offices in six states to collectively serve more than 6,500 clients annually at 50 major hospitals and rehabilitation facilities in the Gulf Coast region.

The news release notes that managers and assistive technology professionals from Gulf Coast Rehab and Custom Healthcare will continue to provide local support and services to clients from offices located in Atlanta; Birmingham and Mobile, Ala; Hattiesburg, Miss; and Baton Rouge, Lafayette, Lake Charles, Monroe, Shreveport, and Thibodaux, La. Support and services will also continue to be offered throughout Texas in Beaumont, Lubbock, and Houston.

James Hartman, vice president of business development at Custom Holdings LLC, notes that the operating philosophy of Custom Healthcare and Golf Coast Rehab parallel that of ATG Rehab. “Both companies uphold the highest standards of practice in rehabilitation technology to improve our clients’ quality of life and level of independence,” Hartman adds.
