Dynatronics Corporation recently highlighted the signing of an agreement that will establish it as a sole-source contract provider of rehabilitation equipment and supplies to members of the group purchasing organization (GPO) Amerinet. The release notes that Amerinet is a leading GPO that offers clients a variety of solutions, including negotiating services, supply chain management, as well as data analytics, technology enhancements, and education.

Kelvyn H. Cullimore, junior chairman and president of Dynatronics, calls the agreement an “important step forward for Dynatronics’ strategic growth initiatives.”

“We believe the combination of Amerinet’s innovative solutions and Dynatronics’ broad product line will deliver synergistic benefits to many practitioners and their patients throughout the country,” Cullimore adds in the release.

Larry K. Beardall, executive vice president of sales and marketing, Dynatronics, echoes Cullimore’s sentiment. “We are thrilled with the opportunity of adding thousands of new customers. We estimate that this contract will ramp up to between $3.5 and $5 million in new business annually.”

The release notes that Amerinet strategically partners with acute and alternate care providers to reduce costs and improve healthcare quality. It has been serving customers nationwide since 1986.

The 3-year agreement with Amerinet goes into effect July 1, 2014, according to the release.
