Mobility Ventures announces it will join approximately 150 disability advocates to raise awareness of the issues surrounding the mobility community during United Spinal Association’s upcoming Roll on Capitol Hill.
As part of its participation, Mobility Ventures will be manning an exhibit during the event that highlights the benefits of accessible transportation.
“Mobility is critical to almost every aspect of our lives – our ability to work, to socialize, to go to doctor’s appointments – it is truly synonymous with freedom and independence,” says Pat Kemp, executive vice president of Mobility Ventures, in a media release from the South Bend, Ind-based manufacturer.
“Improving access to transportation for people with disabilities will transform lives and communities,” he adds.
In addition to its exhibit, Mobility Ventures notes in the release that it is a sponsor of the event and will work with the DC Taxicab Commission to provide transportation to event participants.
